My name is Bill Bockhaus , and I’m the founder of Hamptons Kombucha, based in Southampton, Long Island. My journey into fermentation began while working at a local winery, where I fell in love with the craft and science behind fermentation. That passion led me to SUNY Cobleskill, where I studied fermentation science with a focus on winemaking.

Wine was my first love, but when my parents made the decision to stop drinking, I wanted to create something they and others could enjoy just as much. That’s when kombucha became more than a hobby; it became my mission. Hamptons Kombucha is rooted in tradition, elevated with local flavor, and brewed with purpose for everyone looking for a delicious, non-alcoholic option that still feels special.
